I don't make fan characters anyway. They're either completely original, or canon to a series I like.
Ahh well that's good for you! I usually make my own OC's. It's more fun that way.
I agree. Never really saw the fun behind making fan OCs. I think I DID create a fan OC one point in time, but I then turned them into an OC.
I understand the characters I create. I know how they are around people, in situations, who they'll eventually fall in love with, or vise-versa.
I don't do fan-fiction because those character's aren't mine and I don't know how who they are story wise. I may assume, but I'm not the one who created them. :3
So, for me, it's just easier to make my own OCs. ^^
I'm kind of an original freak, meaning I want everything I make to be completely original so that's why. I'm planning on starting an original comic series soon too so I'm practicing on that kind of stuff.
